DIY: Candles and Matches

Can't help to be satisfied looking at just plain white candles. So, I did something to at least put colors to it and incorporate our wedding theme and motiff. :) Thinking of the design is really hard but managed to finish it this weekend.

On Prenups this July

We need the suggestion of those who's staying in Singapore. Please please help us think of a nice place in Singapore where we can have our prenup. Our main photographer, Jayson and his wife, will be coming over to Singapore for his singapore base clients. Galing pati mga hindi nya clients inaccomodate nya for the prenup. Now, he was asking us to give him an itinerary. Where to go???? Aside from Bukit Timah, that Rommel insist on including in the itinerary. It will be on the 28th of July and yes day after rommel's birthday. Busy busy busy! Please suggest kayo ha!

Quick Update

Just got the fedex package that has all the envelopes and 2 pieces of our invites. Inis ako kasi pinilit pagkasyahin ng fedex sa isang malaking envelope lahat nung pinaghirapang ibalot ni mommy waaaaa. Tuloy, i think about 50 pieces of the envelopes were crumpled huhuhu. Anyway, when I saw naman the invites, they were exactly what we wanted. Galing. Now, all we need to do is to print the additional insert which is the map/direction, done by our good friend elvin, and the rsvp card. Plus, print the names on the envelopes pala. Problem is, momjust told me na she just recently found out that the name of one of our ninang is entirely wrong. Ok sana kung misspelled lang. We'll just think of another way na lang to solve this. Oh, I showed our invite to Vinh, and he said it was so nice. *that's why i like my younger brother hehehe* Plus he was so happy to see his name printed on the invites.

Rommel's now in Phuket, Thailand with his friends having his stag party. Layo nyan ha! :D Ngek, bilis ng araw. We still got little things to do pero super dami pa.

I managed to finish decorating the matches and bear. Yun pa lang nagawa ko.

Picture of the invite was posted last time. I'll just post another one, manghiram muna ko camera hehehe kasi naman.

Updates

Quick updates on our accomplishments. Pardon us for the lack of time to spend on updating our site but were doing our best to keep you up to date somehow.

With regards to invite, as per our last post, Mommy got the invites, all 168 pieces of them, and this morning she sent me sms that she already sent all the envelopes through fedex for name printing. We're asking cuz' *our pretty chinita bridesmaid* through the kindness of her sister in law who'll be coming to singapore end of july. So for those still waiting for the invite, we'll most probably disseminate them 2nd week of august. And mom said the envelopes would be here either thursday or friday. So, can't wait to work on those and spent sleepless nights again :)

On Papal Blessing, I got an email back from Sister Teresa from Italy that we might receive it by tomorrow. Biggie thanks to Ate Che. Yeyyyyy. Muah muah!

On rommel's shoes, also c/o Ate Che, we're now one less to worry about. And he was so happy to see his shoes that his sister bought for him. Hugo Boss ba naman eh hehehe. Once again, thank you thank you ate che!

Hugo Boss pa ulit, trying hard maging model hehehe. We already bought his long sleeves and tie taking advantage of the GSS.

On DIY's, misalettes are done, all 50 pieces of them. Whew! Guestsheets, gift tags, and table nos.

We already bought my inexpensive jewelries for the wedding.

And although, not wedding related, singit lang din, we were so happy to receive the good news from our favorite kuya edwin that he got what he's asking for. Yipeeee congrats kuyakoy!

AND...... eksayted eh hehehe, our precious wedding rings were now in our hands. We were suppose to get it around third week of august eh naeksayt eh, so ayun. I have all the pictures and will be posting it this weekend.

Rommel will be in Phuket, Thailand along with his friends *two were his secondary sponsors, one is our very good friend* for his stag party. So I'll have all the weekends to spend by myself finishing up all the things that we need for the wedding and getting buffed. :)

Invitations

Yeyyyy, finally, Mom got hold of the invites and took a picture of them and send it to me. Now waiting for the kind hearted relative of cuz to bring it here to singapore *some of it and all of the envelopes*, for printing of the names. Yahoooo, i was really excited because they did a great job to it. It's simple but it's what we really want in an invitation. We had it at a great deal compare to the "famous suppliers" that we've scouted which is almost half of their price. Saya!

Accomplishments in Manila

Detailed kwento of my vacation in Manila is posted on my personal website. Since this site is meant for wedding chuvaness, we're trying our best to keep it wedding related as much as possible.

So vacation in Manila is a huge success. I, being the bride to be, as expected, have accomplished a lot of things to tick off from our checklist. Not that the Groom isn't doing anything for the wedding. Of course, details are meant to be looked into by women.

May in Manila - Day 7

We met Lala of Interplay in the afternoon. We hired her to add beauty to wack wack's simple ceiling. I didn't expect her to be still young. And pretty :) She was also nice to treat me and mom a coffe at the Seattle's best. Sarap talaga ng coffee nila. We signed the contract and payed her 50% DP after Mom had made her point of her dislike to my coordinator and told Lala na sana sya na lang daw kinuha ko hehehe. Hay naku moms talaga.

From there we hurried down to Wack Wack where we took a cab and was told by the mabait na manong how to go there using the shortcut he know meaning less traffic than going to shaw boulevard. We went inside San Juan, doing turns here and there from every street which I write down to remember. We saw Dolly and she let us in at the back of the pavilion. The place at night with all the decorations and lights is really a beauty. That instant, I never regretted hiring Lala of Interplay even if it means additional cost on our side. =)
